Stephanie Zito is Wandering for Good, and ready to teach you how to do it too, on a budget! (…and did I mention she’ll teach you for free?)

Stephanie Zito, Wandering for GoodThe “Adventures with the Estrogen Army” project has a mini mission statement — “Have fun. Do good.” — so you can imagine how fast I clicked the link to Stephanie Zito’s web site when I saw her own motto resonated with our’s. After all, an Adventure Diva can never have too many allies!

Stephanie is a humanitarian globetrotter who lives by her personal motto: “See the world. Change the world. Have fun doing it.”

Her expertise in all things travel comes from more than 20 years working on the road across 120 countries and all seven continents.

Stephanie is also the founder of the #give10 project, and the author of Upgrade Unlocked: The Unconventional Guide to Luxury Travel on a Budget and the resident travel expert for the Travel Hacking Cartel. When she isn’t collecting points and miles, Stephanie consults for international humanitarian organizations as a strategic communications advisor. She also manages operations for Color Cloud Hammocks—a social business she co-founded while living in Cambodia.

So how did I stumble across this bodacious Adventure Diva?

Another travel guru I admire, Chris Guillebeau, who writes the “Art of Non-Conformity” blog, mentioned he was teaching a course called “Make Your Dream Trip a Reality” (need I say more?) and that you could sit in on every single one of the live sessions, all month long, free of charge. Of course I had to check that out, and on landing at the promo page I discovered our intrepid sister Adventure Diva, Stephanie Zito, who is collaborating with Chris on the course. (Don’t you just love serendipity?)

Sit in on the live course sessions online for free

The course is running from April 28th through June 5th, and as I mentioned, you can sign up to take it online during the live sessions from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (see the site for days and details). If you take it and want to go back to immerse in the wisdom and resources afterwards (or if you are reading this after it’s done), you can purchase the “on demand” version of the course for US$125 to return to it at any time. (Note: at the time I wrote this, if you’re signing up as a new user of the Creative Live training site, you’ll receive an email promo offering a discount of $25 off your first course).

Chris and Stephanie are gurus when it comes to travel on the cheap, and the art of the unconventional adventure, so even if you can only drop by for a session or two, it’s worth registering.
